Our History

Boca Chica Animal Hospital & Pet Resort has a rich history in Brownsville, dating back to 1971 when Animal Medical Center of Brownsville was founded by Dr. Gary Crouch. The practice was later merged with Boca Chica Animal Hospital in 2018, creating the largest and most well-equipped animal hospital in the area. In 2019, we underwent a major renovation to bring state-of-the-art medicine and a modern hospital to better serve our patients.
