• Wellness & Ambulatory Services: Our team offers on-farm service for routine preventative maintenance procedures, such as vaccinations, dental care, and deworming. We also provide investigative services for health concerns and 24-hour emergency care. Our team maintains eight full-service mobile units that cover a 35-mile radius around Elk River. Our emergency service is available 24/7, 365 days a year.
• Surgical Services: Our surgeons routinely perform a wide variety of equine emergency and elective surgical procedures. Our hospital is fully equipped with a general anesthesia surgical suite. Our team of doctors and technicians provide the experience, equipment, and commitment to excellence necessary to fulfill all of your horse's surgical needs.
• Lameness: Lameness is one of the most common issues seen in performance horses. While some lameness problems can be addressed at your farm, further diagnostics may need to be performed at the clinic. Our team uses flexion tests, peripheral nerve and joint blocks, and diagnostic imaging, such as radiographs and ultrasound, to diagnose and treat lameness issues.
• Dentistry: Regular dental care is essential for the health and performance of your horse. Our team provides routine dental care, as well as advanced dental procedures, such as extractions and occlusal equilibration.
• Reproduction: Our team provides a range of reproductive services, including breeding soundness evaluations, artificial insemination, and pregnancy exams. We also provide critical care for foals and ICU services.
