Sasse Animal Clinic

At Sasse Animal Clinic, we are dedicated to providing the finest veterinary care to pets in the Gordon, NE area, including Chadron, NE. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Jim Sasse, who is a licensed, experienced Gordon veterinarian. Our team is committed to educating our clients on how to keep their pets healthy year-round, with good nutrition and exercise.

Dr. Jim Sasse, the owner of Sasse Animal Clinic, has been serving the community since 1995. He graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. Being born and raised in a ranch family, he has been around animals his whole life. He feels very privileged to serve the community for so many years. He enjoys traveling with his wife, Amber, and visiting his three daughters (all grown). He has two sheepdogs (Angus and Amos) and a cat (Ms. Puss).

Emma, our veterinary assistant, has been with us since the summer of 2014. She was raised in Gordon for most of her life. She is from a ranch family, so animals have been a part of her life since day one. She enjoys working with any kind of animal. Her fun, uplifting personality makes her easy to speak to, and she is always willing to help. She enjoys swimming, camping, and spending time with her friends. She owns a dog (Bentley) and two cats (Karma and Cardi).

Rhett, our newest veterinary assistant, has been with us since October of 2018. He was born and raised in Gordon and attended Casper College for two years. He was raised on his parent's ranch and has had a lifelong love of animals. His easy-going personality resonates well with our clients and their pets. He enjoys hunting, fishing, kayaking, and archery. He has a dog (Mitsy) and two cats (Frank and Bill).
