At Sunnyside Veterinary Clinic, we believe that your pet is a member of your family and should be treated like one. Our mission is to provide exemplary animal health care and outstanding customer service. We are committed to offering a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-house x-ray and ultrasound capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels. We strive to be there not just when your pet's not feeling well but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services including annual exams, physical exams, puppy and kitten visits, vaccinations, deworming, heartworm testing, flea and tick preventatives, nail trims, and anal gland expression. We also provide walk-in wellness hours every Thursday from 5-7pm for well patients only. For new clients, we have a dedicated new client form to ensure we have all the necessary information to provide the best care for your pet. Additionally, we offer boarding services for pets that are current on their vaccinations and have no special medical problems or dietary requirements.

Preventative Health Care

Preventative healthcare involves a multi-faceted approach that includes veterinary evaluation of your pet's overall health and risks of disease or other health problems. Based on the findings, your veterinarian will provide recommendations for your pet's nutrition, dental care, vaccinations, and heartworm/flea/tick prevention, as well as recommendations specifically tailored to your pet's health status and risk factors. We believe in the importance of regular wellness checkups to catch problems early and keep pets happy and healthy.

Microchip ID

We offer microchip ID services, which involve injecting a radio-frequency identification transponder under the loose skin between your pet's shoulder blades. This carries a unique identification number that can be scanned by a vet or shelter to reunite you with your pet if they ever get lost.

Vaccinations

Like people, pets need vaccines. We recommend maintaining regular wellness exams and following your veterinarian's recommendations for preventive health care to stay on schedule with vaccinations for your dog or cat.
