Our story began in 1978 when Dr. Chuck Stinchcomb founded the hospital. Since then, we've grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of our community, always striving to exceed owner expectations. Dr. Nichols, a Russell native, joined the practice in 2007 and has continued the tradition of providing exceptional care. His passion for veterinary medicine and commitment to his community are evident in every aspect of our services.

• Dr. Matt Nichols: A Russell native, Dr. Nichols returned to his hometown in 2007 and joined Town and Country Animal Hospital. He is a 2006 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and holds a B.S. in Animal Science, an M.S. in Animal Science, and an M.B.A. from Oklahoma State University.
• Beverly Nichols: Dr. Nichols' wife, Beverly, serves as Office Manager and is responsible for keeping things running smoothly at the clinic. She is a Kansas State University Graduate and was previously employed as a Grant Coordinator at KSU College of Veterinary Medicine.
• Joane Fabian: Joane serves as our groomer and technician. She has been grooming dogs for over 25 years and is known for her exceptional skills with dogs and cats alike.
