Our goal is to keep your pet healthy by recommending the latest in preventative care. We recommend annual wellness exams for both cats and dogs, during which we will provide recommendations for optimizing your pet's health. This includes vaccines, heartworm preventatives, flea and tick preventatives, ideal weight measurements and feeding guidelines, deworming, and bloodwork screening.

Microchipping

Microchipping your dog or cat improves the likelihood that your pet will be returned to you if they become lost. We offer microchipping services as part of our commitment to keeping your pet safe and healthy.

About Our Clinic

Bourbon Veterinary Hospital was started in 1964 by Dr. Ed Sommers. The original clinic was located on Center Street in Bourbon and later moved to its current location on SR 331. Today, we are a full-service hospital offering a wide variety of services for companion and production animals.
