With our state-of-the-art facility and experienced veterinary team, you can trust us to care for your pets as if they were our own.

Our History

Wheatland Animal Clinic was established in 1945 by the late Dr. Max Landsberg, who initially operated out of his sedan and later from a dairy barn. Over the years, the clinic expanded and welcomed numerous co-owners, including Dr. Jerry Weinand, Dr. Stephen Chambers, Dr. Joel Lenz, and Dr. Leslie Dykstra, each contributing their expertise and dedication to the clinic's growth.

In 2017, Dr. Dykstra became the sole owner of the clinic, which has since transformed into a distinguished small animal veterinary hospital. With continuous modernization and dedicated staff, Wheatland Animal Clinic remains a beacon of advanced veterinary care.

Find us at 5805 W. Garriott Rd., Enid, OK 73703. Our regular hours are:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Payment Policy

We believe in transparent and upfront payment policies for our clients. At Wheatland Animal Clinic, the total cost for services is due upon completion of care. For your convenience, we accept various forms of payment, including cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

We take great pride in our long-standing involvement in the local Enid community. As a member of the Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce and the Air Force Association Community Member, we connect with like-minded organizations and contribute to the well-being of our beloved community. In addition, we support various events and programs, such as local school fundraisers, Enid RSVP, the 4R Kids Foundation, the Tri-State Music Festival, and others.
