Meet Our Team
Our team is made up of experienced veterinarians, support staff, and management who are all dedicated to providing the best possible care for your pet. Our team leader, Dr. Bishop, has over 25 years of experience in veterinary medicine and is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest advances in pet care.
Dr. Bishop's Bio
Dr. Bishop grew up in southern California, where he developed a love for animals. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's degree in Zoology and Animal Science and a Master's degree in Parasitology. He then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed his clinicals at Oklahoma State University. After graduating, he began working at Broward Animal Hospital, where he has been for over 20 years.
Our Support Staff
We are also proud to have a dedicated team of support staff who work behind the scenes to keep our hospital running smoothly. Our team includes Pablo, our general manager; Eliza, our veterinary assistant and dog trainer; Scarlett, our finance manager; Gloryanne, our groomer; Giovanelly, our vet technician; and Josephine, our kennel assistant.
Conflicting Problems and Poor Customer Service
Several reviewers have expressed frustration with the clinic's poor customer service, inconsistent hours, and lack of communication. Author Giovanna Gazzia gave the clinic 1 star, stating that they were unable to find the clinic open despite arriving at 9 AM, and that no one answered their calls. Author Ginger Sky had a similar experience, claiming that the clinic was unwilling to provide a prescription without conducting an unnecessary examination and asking for a "hearwarm test". Others, such as Author Kimberly Hartley and Author Benica Menica, experienced difficulty getting in touch with the clinic or receiving updates on their pets' treatment.
Mixed Experiences with Vets and Staff
While some reviewers had negative experiences with the clinic, others had positive interactions with the veterinarians and staff. Authors Michael DeGori and Jimmy Hendricks praised the clinic's vets for their excellent medical knowledge and bedside manner. Author Herb Roth gave the clinic 5 stars, stating that Dr. Bishop has both excellent medical knowledge and bedside manner. However, other reviewers, such as Author Michelle Sanay, had poor experiences with the vets, claiming that they failed to listen to their concerns and made mistakes in their diagnosis.
Confusing and Inconsistent Information
Reviews also highlighted inconsistent and confusing information from the clinic. Author Benica Menica found conflicting signs indicating the clinic's opening hours, and claimed that the staff never returned phone calls or responded to emails.
