Our Team
Dr. April L. Steele received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California and got her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 1993. She is also a licensed wildlife rehabilitator in the state of Georgia. Although she has her own dogs, cats, and horses, she really enjoys caring for the pets in the community.

Ginger - 2000 - 2017 Ginger was an amazing dog we adopted in 2000. She lived with us until her final day in early 2017. Even in her elder years with failing hearing and eyesight she had a vibrant love and passion for her humans and the outdoors. Ginger will forever be in our hearts. - Monika W.

We adopted our girl Ellie, a miniature schnauzer about a year ago. She was a very problematic dog with severe anxiety, PTSD, and general behavior problems. Grooming her in any capacity was virtually impossible. The first vet visit was a complete disaster because nobody there could handle her and they ended up putting her under the general anesthesia for a grooming procedure. After visiting Tugaloo Animal Hospital, we finally found a place where Ellie feels comfortable and received the care she needed.
