Compassionate Veterinary Care for Your Pets in Santa Barbara
We have been dedicated to providing compassionate veterinary care to Santa Barbara pets since 1969. Originally established as Tower Veterinary Hospital on Cabrillo Boulevard, we relocated to our current Cliff Drive location in Santa Barbara in 1969, where we've maintained a legacy of excellence under multiple generations of veterinary leadership. Our team includes experienced veterinarians like Dr. Sally Mobraaten, who has owned the practice since 2006, and Drs. Sherry Trujillo and Kelly Doria, each bringing decades of expertise in small animal medicine. We combine advanced medical care with personalized attention, offering a comprehensive range of services from routine vaccinations to complex surgical procedures. Our staff's expertise extends beyond clinical care - our Practice Manager Rebecca Rockwell is an award-winning author with a deep commitment to veterinary medicine.

We maintain modern facilities with cutting-edge equipment while preserving the warm, personal touch that has defined our practice for over 50 years. Our services include dental care, cold laser therapy, and surgical procedures performed with the latest techniques. We provide convenient boarding services in a comfortable environment that prioritizes pet safety and well-being. Vaccinations
We provide comprehensive vaccination programs tailored to each pet's specific needs and lifestyle. Our vaccine protocols follow AVMA guidelines while considering individual factors like age, health status, and environmental exposure. This preventive care helps protect pets from common infectious diseases while maintaining community health standards.
Dentistry
Our dental services include routine cleanings, periodontal treatments, and advanced oral surgery. We utilize digital dental radiography and modern anesthetic protocols to ensure safe and effective treatment. Regular dental care prevents tooth loss and reduces systemic health risks associated with periodontal disease.
Surgical procedures
We perform a wide range of surgical procedures including soft tissue surgery, spays/neuters, and emergency interventions. Our surgical suite features advanced monitoring equipment and our team employs the latest pain management techniques. Post-operative care includes comprehensive recovery instructions and follow-up appointments.
Boarding
Our boarding facility provides safe, comfortable accommodations for dogs and cats during owner travel. We maintain climate-controlled environments with regular exercise periods and personalized feeding schedules. Special medical needs can be accommodated with veterinary supervision and medication administration.
Cold Laser Therapy
We offer cold laser therapy as a non-invasive treatment option for pain management and tissue healing. This technology uses specific wavelengths to stimulate cellular regeneration and reduce inflammation. It's particularly effective for post-surgical recovery and managing chronic conditions like arthritis.
