Our History
Cullman Veterinary Hospital has a rich history that dates back to the 1950s. In 1985, Dr. Steven T. Murphree, D.V.M., purchased the hospital from Dr. David Simpson. Over the years, we have expanded and upgraded our facilities to meet the growing needs of our patients. In 1990, Dr. Dana Kessler joined the practice as an associate veterinarian, bringing her expertise and knowledge to the team. In 2001, we moved into our new facility, which features two surgery suites, four exam rooms, a conference room, an expanded laboratory, and added kennel space. In 2011, Dr. Tara Bonds joined the practice, further enhancing our team's capabilities.
