COVID-19 Update

At Poco West Veterinary Clinic, we are committed to keeping you and your pets safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have implemented several measures to ensure that our clinic remains a safe and healthy environment for everyone. These measures include reducing the number of clients in the waiting room, encouraging clients to wait in their cars if they arrive early, and limiting the number of people accompanying each pet.

We also offer the option for clients to request a refill of medications or prescription foods in advance. This allows us to prepare your pet's needs ahead of time, reducing the amount of time you spend in the waiting room. Additionally, we can ship medications or prescription foods directly to your home or have a staff member drop them off at your doorstep.

Stem Cell Therapy

We are proud to announce that Dr. Shoop is now certified to perform stem cell therapy. This revolutionary treatment is especially beneficial for pets suffering from arthritis, joint disease, tendon, ligament, and/or orthopedic injuries. Stem cell therapy involves taking stem cells from your pet's own fat cells, processing them, and then injecting them back into your pet. This regenerative therapy can currently be performed on dogs, cats, and horses, with the science continually advancing to include other species.
