Our History
Dr. Anthony Holcomb was born and raised in Rusk and knew he wanted to be a veterinarian from a young age. After graduating, he returned to Rusk and Cherokee Animal Clinic began. Initially, he operated out of a portable Veterinary unit for the first two years of practice, while his wife, Chris, managed the office from their dining room at home. He made house calls for most patients and saw a few on the back patio as well. Over the years, the practice has continued to grow, and a new State-Of-The-Art clinic/hospital was built on Highway 84 to offer larger facilities and even better care for his patients.
