Founded in 1978 by Dr. John Leeds as a primarily large animal clinic, the practice evolved under the visionary leadership of Dr. Sam Ives in 1992 to include small animal services, expanding its reach to encompass the diverse needs of our local animal population. In 1995, Dr. Paul and Mary Ann McCann acquired the practice, further solidifying Bear Paw's commitment to providing exceptional veterinary care for all creatures great and small.
