Our Staff

Meadowbrook Animal Hospital is home to a team of caring and dedicated staff members. Our team includes three experienced veterinarians - Dr. Deborah A. Hopkins, Dr. Vanessa M. Diemer, and Dr. Amanda D. Hopkins - who are skilled in small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. We also have a team of veterinary assistants, including Heather Joltin, Christine Hendel, Julie Siano, and Alex Garcia, who provide compassionate care to all of our patients. Our administrative staff, led by Office Manager Renee Castillo, are here to ensure that your experience at Meadowbrook Animal Hospital is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

To meet these needs, we provide our customers with a variety of services, including boarding, complete companion animal care, diagnostic services on site, dietary and nutritional counseling, digital radiology, elective surgeries and orthopedics, examinations, vaccinations, surgery and medicine, geriatric care, laser therapy, medical diagnostics and hospitalized treatment, microchipping, pet food and supplies, pregnancy ultrasonography, routine health examinations, routine small animal medical and surgical services, wellness and preventive medicine.

We know that our patients want their experience to be convenient and efficient. To ensure that this is the case, we offer a variety of services that cater to the needs of cats and dogs. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology, including diagnostic ultrasonography, digital radiology, and on-site diagnostic services, allowing us to provide accurate diagnoses and treatments in a timely manner. Additionally, we offer boarding services for pets that require extended care, as well as pet food and supplies for pets of all ages and sizes.

Business Hours and Location

Meadowbrook Animal Hospital is conveniently located in Freeport, NY, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays.
