Wellness Plans
Our Preventative Annual Wellness (PAW) plans provide comprehensive preventive care for pets through monthly payments. This includes twice-yearly examinations, core vaccinations, parasite testing, and heartworm/flea prevention. Clients receive 10% off all additional services and medications while enrolled. Plans are customized for different life stages and pet sizes, ensuring consistent preventive care without unexpected costs.
Small Mammal Boarding
We offer specialized boarding facilities for rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, and other small mammals. Our secure enclosures include bedding, toys, and daily fresh vegetables from our veterinarian's garden. Each pet receives daily individual attention and exercise time. We require proof of vaccinations for rabbits, while other small mammals need no immunizations. Our clean environment ensures comfort during your absence.
Dental Care
Our dental services cover comprehensive oral assessments, cleanings, and treatments under anesthesia. Using digital radiography, we diagnose and address subgingival issues. Procedures include scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, and extractions when necessary. We provide pre-anesthetic bloodwork, monitoring technology, and post-operative care instructions. Regular dental maintenance prevents systemic health issues from untreated periodontal disease.
Vaccination Programs
We administer core vaccinations for dogs, cats, and ferrets following AAHA/AAFP guidelines. Services include rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia vaccines. Our staff educates clients on vaccination schedules and disease prevention. We maintain proper documentation required for boarding and follow strict protocols to ensure vaccine efficacy and safety through proper storage and administration.
Diagnostic Services
Our in-clinic laboratory handles bloodwork, urinalysis, and parasite testing for quick diagnosis. Digital X-ray technology provides immediate imaging for injury and illness assessment. We utilize external reference laboratories for specialized testing when needed. Rapid diagnostic capabilities allow timely treatment decisions and monitoring of chronic conditions while maintaining accurate patient health records.

Questions
What does the Preventative Annual Wellness (PAW) Plan cover?
PAW Plans include twice-yearly exams, core vaccinations, parasite testing, heartworm/flea prevention, and 10% off all other services. Plans vary by pet size and life stage.
Do you board dogs at Healthy Pet Veterinary Clinic?
We currently don't offer dog boarding. Our boarding services focus specifically on cats and small mammals like rabbits, guinea pigs, and ferrets.
Why are dental X-rays important for pets?
Dental X-rays reveal ⅔ of tooth structures below the gum line. They detect hidden problems like root abscesses and bone loss that visual exams alone would miss during cleanings.
What payment options are available?
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and CareCredit financing. Payment plans available for treatments over $200 through CareCredit's interest-free programs.
Are vaccinations required for boarding?
Yes, cats need current rabies and FVRCP vaccines. Ferrets require distemper vaccination. Rabbits must have Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease vaccination for boarding safety.
How do I schedule veterinary appointments?
