Our History

All Pets Medical Center wasn't always based in Altus, OK. Our story began in 1974 as Frederick Animal Clinic in the neighboring town of Frederick, OK. We started as a mixed animal practice serving the local community and surrounding areas. As word spread about our dedication to quality care and compassionate service, our patient and client base grew steadily. Over the next three and a half decades, we watched our practice thrive, and our commitment to providing the best possible care for animals remained unwavering. However, we soon realized our Frederick clinic had become too small to accommodate our growing needs. The decision was made to seek a new home, a location where we could expand our services and continue to serve our ever-expanding clientele. After careful consideration, we chose Altus, OK as our new home and embarked on an exciting new chapter.

In August 2009, we opened the doors to All Pets Medical Center at 1300 E Tamarack Rd. This brand-new facility allowed us to offer advanced veterinary care in a modern, comfortable environment. We continued to attract clients from near and far, expanding our reach beyond Southwest Oklahoma. Today, we're proud to welcome clients not only from surrounding towns and cities but also from states like Florida, Colorado, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, Alaska, Kansas, Texas, and North Carolina. Our commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine has earned us a reputation as a leading provider of surgical insemination breeding services. We also receive referrals from veterinarians across the region seeking our expertise in surgical and imaging procedures.

We were among the first clinics in the Midwest to adopt cutting-edge technologies, including lasers in surgery, external imaging for ear examinations, a full range of endoscopy instruments, digital radiography, and minimally invasive surgical procedures. Our embrace of innovation has also extended to stem cell therapy and cold laser therapy.
