Our History

Newberry Animal Hospital was founded in 1990 by Dr. Jeff Philpot in the small town of Newberry, just a few miles west of Gainesville. Under the leadership of Dr. Philpot, the hospital grew and expanded, adding new services and staff to meet the growing needs of the community. Unfortunately, Dr. Philpot passed away in 2008, but his legacy continues to inspire and guide us to this day.
