Our team of veterinarians is led by Dr. Ash Hakhamian, DVM, our Medical Director and head of University Veterinary Center. Dr. Ash is a double-internship and residency-trained veterinarian with expertise in advanced internal medicine and surgery. He is dedicated to providing exceptional care to your pets and is committed to staying at the forefront of veterinary medicine.

Dr. Maria Rodriguez, DVM, is our experienced staff veterinarian with more than a decade of experience in the veterinary profession. She has a background in general medicine and surgery and is passionate about providing compassionate care to your pets.

Our veterinary nursing team is comprised of experienced and dedicated professionals who are committed to providing top-notch care to your pets. Our team includes Andrea, our Practice Manager and Finance, Raquel, our Client and Patient Liason, Alli, our Client and Patient Liason, Destiny, Jazmin, and Alex, our Veterinary Nursing Team.

Our History

University Veterinary Center has a rich history of providing exceptional care to the Anaheim and Orange County communities. Our hospital was remodeled and relaunched in 2016 with top-of-the-line equipment and a commitment to providing university-quality medicine within the confines and limitations of a private practice animal hospital and clinic. Our team of veterinarians and support staff have been working in the animal field for 10 or more years, and we are dedicated to providing the highest level of care to your pets.
