Colonial Vet in Williamsburg, VA doesnt seem like they are in the business for the animals. Weve been taking our dog there for the last few years. We decided to breed her. We asked if there was anything they felt we should know. They said they would NOT advise on anything, unless we brought her in to be checked out. AND they told us if we didnt bring her in for a check up, they would not help if there were any complications during whelping. We understand the need for prenatal care, but to tell us they would not help if complications arose, didnt sit well with us. They would rather our dog suffer than to help, if needed? Not right.
