At New Hope Veterinary Clinic, we are dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service to the residents of German Valley, Rock City, and the surrounding areas. Our team of highly trained, experienced animal lovers are devoted to giving our patients the best care possible. We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own pet, and giving them the same loving attention and care.

Our clinic was initially established in 1971 by Dr. Calvin Barthel, with most services performed on the farm or in a small office associated with his home. In 1983, a new facility was built just north of German Valley, making New Hope Veterinary Clinic a more prominent business in the area. With the addition of our Rock City branch in 1991, we were able to expand our services and better serve our community.
