Business Details
We founded Andermann Animal Clinic in 2013 to provide nextlevel veterinary medicine combined with compassion and honesty. Our clinic is the fastest growing veterinary facility in Ascension Parish, serving Gonzales and the surrounding Baton Rouge area. We operate as a smallanimal general practice limited to dogs and cats, ensuring focused expertise. Our team includes a rotating staff of four veterinarians and a dedicated support team that truly loves caring for animals. We pride ourselves on a lighthearted, personable culture where communication and kindness are hallmarks of our veterinarians. We collaborate closely with local emergency and referral hospitals when a case exceeds our capabilities to maintain the highest standard of care.
We benefit from our founders experience in emergency medicine, highvolume surgery, and general practice. We are proud that our founder earned her biology bachelors in 2003 and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from LSU in 2008, and served as president of the Baton Rouge Area Veterinary Medical Association from 2015 to 2017. We value Dr. Julie Hackney, who joined us shortly after the 2016 flood, for her more than twenty years of veterinary expertise and her renowned bedside manner. We appreciate Dr. Jennifer West, who began as a veterinary assistant at our opening, for her specialized knowledge in surgery and dermatology backed by impeccable work ethic. We are committed to delivering trustworthy, compassionate care to every client.
