Our History

In 2004, our clinic's owners purchased the building that had been leased and changed the name of the office to Southwest Louisiana Veterinary Clinic, AVMC. Since then, we have continually upgraded our facilities and technology to ensure that our clients receive the most advanced veterinary care available. Our clinic is a mixed animal practice, welcoming small, large, and even exotic animals. We offer a wide range of services, including nutritional counseling, preventative medicine, and warm, compassionate care.

Our Services

At Southwest Louisiana Veterinary Clinic, AVMC, we offer a variety of services to meet the needs of our clients and their pets. Some of the services we provide include:

• Dental Surgery: We offer comprehensive dental care, including routine cleanings, extractions, and dental surgery. Our experienced team is dedicated to helping your pet maintain healthy teeth and gums.
• Large Animal Radiology: Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art radiology equipment, allowing us to provide high-quality imaging services for large animals. This helps us diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
• On Site Diagnostics: We have our own on-site diagnostic laboratory, which allows us to quickly and accurately diagnose a variety of conditions. This enables us to provide timely and effective treatment for your pet.
• Boarding: Our clinic offers a safe and comfortable boarding facility for your pet when you are away. Our staff is dedicated to providing your pet with the care and attention they need while you are away.
• Laser Therapy: We offer laser therapy as a non-invasive treatment option for a variety of conditions, including arthritis, wounds, and pain management.

Our Locations

We have two convenient locations to serve you and your pets. Our Sulphur location is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 5:00pm, and Saturday from 8:30am to 12:00pm. Our DeQuincy location is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 12:00pm, with the doctor in office on Monday and Thursday for appointments.
