Meet Our Veterinarian: Dr. Danielle (Dani) LaMarr

Dr. Danielle (Dani) LaMarr initiated Pet Fixer Mobile Veterinary Service in 1998 with the goal of reaching out and helping those in need. After graduating from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997, Dr. Dani began practicing at the Atlanta Humane Society as a way of giving back to the community. It was there that she met a sweet elderly lady named Helen who smuggled her cat Felix to the vet in her purse after being told "No cats allowed" by a taxi driver. Helen did not have a car, lived in a retirement community, and desperately needed medical attention for her furry friend. After cleaning out Helen's purse, Dr. Dani told her that she would never have to smuggle Felix in again. From that point on, the art and compassion of house calls were born.
