We strive to maintain the highest standards of pet health care, emphasizing preventive medicine, senior wellness, dental health, weight and nutrition management, and client education. Our Services
At Madison Veterinary Hospital, we offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of our patients and their families. Our services include:
- Preventative Care: Preventative care starts with kitten and puppy physical examinations, parasite control, and immunizations. Annual preventative care is an important part of maintaining your pet's health throughout their lives.
- Surgery: Our hospital is fully equipped for routine and emergency surgeries. We routinely perform spay, neuter surgeries, as well as dental procedures, emergency explorations, orthopedic procedures, and much more.
- Laboratory and Radiology: Our hospital is equipped with a full, in-house diagnostic laboratory. We also partner with an outside laboratory for additional testing needs. Our radiology department with automatic processing allows for immediate reading of films.
- Pet Health Library: We are pleased to provide a library of professionally written articles updated by practice experts and reviewed by practitioners to bring you the most up-to-date, trustworthy pet health information.
Our Team
At Madison Veterinary Hospital, we have a dedicated team of veterinarians and staff who are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Our team includes:
- Dr. Sudesh Kumar, DVM, PhD: Dr. Kumar received his training to become a veterinarian in India in 1988. He has a Master of Veterinary Science degree in parasitology from the University of Georgia. He has been serving the pet families in Durham and surrounding communities since the Fall of 2006.
- Dr. Susan Hall, DVM: Dr. Hall brings with her over 20 years' experience in small animal medicine and surgery. Most importantly, Sue practices thorough and compassionate care tailored for every pet and client.
