We are dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalized, and stress-free veterinary care to dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets, rodents, birds, amphibians, and reptiles (excluding venomous snakes). Our services include acupuncture, dental care, in-clinic diagnostics, in-house pharmacy, surgery, and wellness visits.

Our Services
We offer a wide range of services including Dental Care, Dermatology, Digital Radiography, Heartworm Testing, Hospice/Euthansia, Immunotherapy, In-Clinic Diagnostics, Microchipping, Nutritional Counseling, Pain Management, Pharmacy, Surgery, and Wellness visits. Our in-house laboratory enables us to perform diagnostic testing, and our in-house pharmacy ensures that medications are readily available.
Our History
Established in Jacksonville, North Carolina in 1950 by Dr. Smith, Animal Hospital of Onslow County was later purchased by Dr. Glass. In 1996, Dr. David H. Altman acquired the practice. Through hard work and the support of loyal clients, the office outgrew its original site and relocated to its current location of 296 Doctors Drive in 2006.
