The Milan Veterinary Clinic was established in 1991 by Dr. Renee D. Fisher, who is dedicated to providing the best quality veterinary medicine possible. Our mission is to practice veterinary medicine in a clean, thorough, and caring manner, while emphasizing client education and preventative medicine to keep pets healthy and happy. We are an A+ Accredited Business by the BBB and adhere to the strict guidelines of the American Animal Hospital Association.

Clinic History

Dr. Renee D. Fisher, the founder of Milan Veterinary Clinic, is a highly qualified veterinarian. She was the valedictorian of Athens Area High School's class of 1976 and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Behavior from Bucknell University in 1980. Dr. Fisher then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986.

Clinic Staff

Our team consists of experienced and caring professionals. Bernadette McDonald, our clinic's veterinary assistant and groomer, has 25 years of technical and administrative experience. Rachel Tice, one of our veterinary assistants, has been part of our staff since March 2014. Mandy Towner, our licensed technician, has over 12 years of experience and joined our staff in September 2013.
