A History Established on Passion and Vision

Dr. John Jacobson and Dr. Laurie Johnson, the founders of Town and Country Animal Clinic, have known each other since their days at Oregon State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Their shared vision of establishing a thriving veterinary practice on the Southern Oregon coast materialized in 1993 when they opened their doors in the heart of Brookings.

Throughout the years, their commitment to providing exceptional care and expanding their services has driven their growth. A significant expansion in 2008 allowed them to better serve the needs of their equine, small animal, and large animal clients.
