Dr. Kleinpeter's lifelong love for horses began in his childhood, as he grew up in a family deeply rooted in the Quarter Horse industry. He started showing performance horses at a young age and pursued a career in veterinary medicine after graduating from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. With over four decades of experience in the equine industry, Dr. Kleinpeter specializes in equine sports medicine and podiatry, offering expert care for both local and national clients.

*Dr. Clay Espey*

Dr. Espey, a graduate of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, joined our practice in 2011 after gaining valuable experience in equine medicine in the Lafayette, Louisiana area. With roots in both the horse and cattle industry, he is well-versed in preventative and emergency equine medicine, as well as equine sports medicine. His expertise and personalized care will ensure the well-being of your equine partner.

Caroline Pinell joined our team in 2007, bringing with her over five years of experience assisting one of the largest Arabian training barns in the country. Her extensive background in equine care includes horse health maintenance, rehabilitation, and major medical emergencies, allowing her to work closely with top equine veterinarians in the industry. Caroline's dedication and skill ensure the highest level of care for each horse.
