Services
Diagnostic Services
We offer comprehensive diagnostic capabilities with high-resolution digital x-rays, in-house blood laboratories, and specialized equipment for detecting diseases in dogs and cats. Our tools include urinalysis machines, digital dental radiography, and electrocautery units. By collaborating with commercial veterinary labs for specialized testing, we ensure rapid, accurate diagnoses that inform effective treatment plans while maintaining strict quality standards.
Orthopedic Surgery
Our clinic specializes in canine ACL surgery and fracture repairs utilizing advanced techniques. Dr. McKown has performed over 1,100 ACL procedures with proven success rates. We employ electrocautery for precise tissue management and maintain strict post-operative monitoring protocols. This service addresses mobility issues through minimally invasive approaches that reduce recovery times and improve long-term joint health outcomes for active dogs.
Dental Care
We provide comprehensive oral care using human-grade ultrasonic cleaning equipment, digital dental radiography, and high-speed surgical drills. Our services address periodontal disease, root infections, and oral tumors while minimizing anesthetic exposure. Post-operative pain management ensures patient comfort, and preventive care education helps owners maintain oral health between professional cleanings.
Boarding Services
Our climate-controlled boarding facilities offer separate spaces for dogs and cats with supervised exercise areas. Dogs receive multiple daily walks while cats enjoy a quiet environment away from canine noise. Staff administer medications and monitor health 24/7, with veterinary intervention available as needed. Three-night stays include complimentary bathing to maintain pet hygiene during extended stays.
Anesthetic Services
We implement multi-modal anesthetic protocols incorporating EKG monitoring, pulse oximetry, and blood pressure tracking for patient safety. Customized premedication regimens and gas anesthesia techniques ensure smooth inductions and rapid recoveries. Continuous vital sign monitoring during procedures allows prompt adjustments, particularly for senior or high-risk patients requiring specialized surgical interventions.
