The Perkins County Veterinary Hospital is a companion animal hospital located in southwest Nebraska. Founded in 2000 by Shannon Jensen, DVM, the hospital has been dedicated to providing pets with excellent medical care to increase their quality of life and give owners a peace of mind. Dr. Jensen, a graduate of Colorado State University with an undergraduate degree in Equine Science, has a deep understanding of the needs of domesticated animals, including dogs, cats, horses, birds, reptiles, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters.
Our Services
Our mission is to provide pets with excellent medical care to increase their quality of life and give owners a peace of mind. We offer a wide range of services including wellness exams, surgery, vaccinations, diagnostics, boarding, grooming, laser therapy, reproduction, ultrasound, digital radiology, allergy testing, onsite blood analysis, and 24-hour emergency services. We also have a fully stocked pharmacy and provide Hills Science Diet food, among other essentials.

Our team includes Dr. Shannon, a skilled veterinarian with a deep understanding of animal care; Jess, a veterinary technician with years of experience; and Lisa and Christy, who handle kennel duties and grooming.
