Quality of Care
The majority of reviewers praised the quality of care provided by Montana Veterinary Specialists. Wendy Fox, Emily Parker, Vanessa Vance, Mountain Girl, Peri Norman Nishikawa, and Lindsey Simon all gave high ratings, citing excellent care, clear communication, and a caring staff. Specifically, Zooey, Dr. Molly Maddock, and Dr. Culver were mentioned as providing outstanding service.
Communication Issues
However, several reviewers raised concerns about communication breakdowns. Emily Parker expressed disappointment with Dr. Molly's bedside manner and felt that multiple visits and blood tests were unnecessary. Kaitlyn Poma was appalled by the lack of communication when her dog's treatment was botched, and Michael Poma felt that he was never informed about his dog's declining health.
Availability and Referrals
Strained Chains felt that the clinic was only accepting existing clients and not taking on new patients, which made it difficult for them to get their cat treated. Emily Parker also had trouble getting a referral to a specialist in Bozeman despite being told that the clinic could perform the necessary surgery.
Financial Concerns
Kaitlyn Poma felt that she was overcharged for her emergency vet visit and was shocked by the lack of communication. Michael Poma also raised concerns about the cost of his dog's treatment and the lack of transparency.
