At Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospitals (VESH), we pride ourselves on providing expert, compassionate, and specialty pet care to the pets and pet owners of the greater Massachusetts region. With two state-of-the-art facilities in South Deerfield and West Springfield, MA, we have been serving the Pioneer Valley, Southern Vermont, Southern New Hampshire, and Northern Connecticut areas since 2006.

Our Story

VESH was founded on the principles of providing advanced veterinary medicine combined with deeply compassionate care in a nurturing environment. Our journey began in South Deerfield with a 10,300 sq. ft. facility offering emergency care to the pets in the area. As we grew, we expanded our offerings to include specialty services, advanced diagnostics, and cutting-edge equipment. Our experienced team of experts, board-certified specialists, and dedicated staff work together to provide exceptional care to our patients while offering exceptional customer service to our clients.

Our team consists of board-certified specialists in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Surgery, as well as experienced veterinarians, and a dedicated support staff. 24/7 Emergency Care: We provide 24/7 emergency care to pet owners who require immediate attention for their pets. Our experienced emergency veterinarians and technicians are available to provide critical care to pets who are suffering from injuries, trauma, or acute diseases.

Specialty Care: Our board-certified specialists offer referral pet care in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Surgery. Our specialists work closely with primary care veterinarians to provide comprehensive medical care to our patients.

Diagnostic Imaging: We offer advanced diagnostic imaging services, including X-ray, ultrasound, and computed tomography (CT) scans, to help diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.

Internal Medicine: Our internal medicine specialists provide expert care for pets with complex medical conditions, such as chronic diseases, allergies, and inflammatory disorders.
