Quality Life Vet Care is dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care for companion animals facing terminal or chronic illnesses. We believe that every pet deserves to live a fulfilling life, free from pain and discomfort, until their natural end. Our services are designed to not only enhance the quality of life for pets but also to support the caregivers who love them through this difficult journey.
We understand that the decision to seek palliative or hospice care for a beloved pet can be emotionally challenging. We aim to provide a safe and supportive space for pet owners, offering guidance and understanding every step of the way. Our goal is to maintain a strong bond between animals and their caregivers while ensuring the pet's comfort and well-being throughout their remaining time.
Our Mission
Our mission at Quality Life Vet Care is multifaceted. We strive to maintain or improve the quality of life for each animal under our care, recognizing that "a good life" means different things to different animals. We also aim to strengthen the bond between animals and their humans, providing a space for love, connection, and support. We understand that caring for a terminally ill or chronically ill pet can be physically and emotionally demanding for caregivers. Therefore, we also strive to support the well-being of the caregivers, ensuring they feel empowered and capable of navigating this challenging time. Finally, we guide caregivers through the end-of-life process with compassion and sensitivity, helping them prepare for and cope with the loss of their beloved companion.

The Benefits of Home-Based Care
At Quality Life Vet Care, we understand that bringing a sick or aging pet to a veterinary clinic can be stressful for both the animal and the caregiver. Our home-based care model aims to minimize this stress by bringing the veterinary services directly to the pet's familiar and comfortable environment.
We believe that by caring for pets in their homes, we can better understand their individual needs and preferences. We observe their interactions with their caregivers, assess their environment, and tailor our care plans accordingly. We find that pets often relax more easily in their own surroundings, allowing us to provide more accurate assessments and personalized care.
Our Services
We offer a comprehensive range of services designed to meet the unique needs of each pet and their caregivers.
Quality Life Evaluations
Our initial Quality Life evaluations are conducted in the comfort of your pet's home. These in-depth assessments take approximately 60 to 90 minutes and provide an opportunity for us to get to know both the pet and their caregiver. During this visit, we will discuss your goals for your pet's care, assess their current quality of life, and develop a personalized care plan tailored to their specific needs and your values.
Palliative Care Programs
Palliative care focuses on improving the quality of life for pets with ongoing conditions that have no cure. We work closely with caregivers to manage symptoms, provide comfort measures, and support their pet's overall well-being. Our palliative care programs are designed to be flexible and adaptable, evolving alongside your pet's changing needs.
Hospice Care Programs
Hospice care is provided for pets with terminal illnesses. Our primary goal is to ensure the pet's comfort and peace in their final days. We focus on pain management, symptom control, and providing a loving and supportive environment for the pet and their family. We work closely with caregivers to understand their wishes and help them navigate the emotional challenges of end-of-life care.
Home Euthanasia & Aftercare
It is often a difficult and emotionally charged decision to say goodbye to a beloved pet.
We understand this deeply and strive to make the euthanasia process as peaceful and humane as possible, both for the pet and their caregiver. Our home euthanasia services provide a private and intimate setting where your pet can pass away surrounded by the love and comfort of their familiar environment. We also offer compassionate aftercare options, including memorial services, paw print keepsakes, and personalized tributes to help you honor your pet's memory.
