Our History

Founded in 1938 by Dr. Codd, and with an addition added in 1940, our clinic has a rich history of providing quality care to animals in our community. Dr. W. Roger West moved his family from Kansas and purchased the clinic in 1947, followed by Dr. Paul West, who purchased the clinic from his father in 1979. With over 80 years of experience, our clinic has undergone numerous remodeling projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements to ensure we continue to provide the best possible care for your pet.

Our Team

At West's Animal Clinic, our doctors, assistants, receptionists, and other staff members work together as a team to deliver quality care to our patients. Our team is dedicated to animal care and has many years of combined experience within the field of veterinary medicine. Most of our employees are cross-trained in various departments to ensure your overall satisfaction. In addition to regular staff meetings, our employees attend multiple training sessions to familiarize themselves with the services and products provided at our clinic.

We diagnose before we treat, and we schedule a full 30-minute appointment for all exams to ensure that you have ample time to discuss your concerns with our doctors. We also provide expert medical care, including consultations with board-certified specialists if necessary.
